Weingut Franz Schaefer was a lovely spot for our family vacation! As a family of four, we needed self-catering, which turned out to be quite manageable. We enjoyed cooking our meals while having access to some fantastic restaurants just a short bus ride away in the neighbouring town. The location was peaceful, making it easy for us to unwind. We took long walks through the beautiful countryside, which kept the kids entertained while we soaked in the scenery. Our days revolved around scenic hikes-our youngest loved chasing butterflies, and the older one found plenty of interesting bugs along the trail. Local transport was exceptional; we didn't need to drive anywhere. We hopped on a train to explore nearby attractions with ease. Plus, having a quiet space for the kids to play after our adventures was a nice bonus. If you're a family hoping for an inclusive atmosphere and a chance to connect with nature, Weingut Franz Schaefer might just be the right choice for you! Looking forward to our next family getaway!
